I had such a difficult time deciding on registry items when I was pregnant. I made my husband do a lot of it.

This is such a great article! I always see lists of what moms should have on registries, but they often do lack diapers. I didn’t know this tip and I wish I had. Thankfully my aunt made one of those diaper cakes and I was SO happy to have that set of diapers! Since my younger cousins are all asking me about what to put on their registries I will have to mention this important fact to them! I LOVED Pampers Swaddlers! I was sad when he grew out of them!

Great tips!! I was just telling my nephew wife that she need to compose a list of things she needs for her new baby and register them now. I agree diapers will always be a great gifts and so are bottles. :0)

Awesome tips! Definitely include diapers on the registry! I also like to find out what offers registries have (coupons, diaper samples, etc.) as those can be great additions to the hospital bag or stuck in your car for emergencies. I try to stay away from adding clothes or toys as most of the time you get GOBS of that anyway, but any bedding you want for your room decor, bathing items, baby gear, etc. is helpful to include. I usually put some really cheap items for those with a lower budget, a couple large items for those spending more or combining their gifts, and some mid-range for those who don’t want to get a larger gift rather than several small items and cannot afford the big items.
