  1. I absolutely love your posts on making your own jewelry. I haven’t gotten your book yet, but I certainly plan too. I’m interested in all kinds of homemade jewelry so seeing your emails always excites me. I have a 12 year old daughter, so jewelry is a HUGE thing with us. She changes styles with just about every outfit, so I hafta stay on top of the trends without breaking my bank account lol. Thanks so much for the DIY jewelry projects you and others put out there for those of us who may be less creative in that department.

    1. Hi Jeannie, I’m happy to hear! Making jewelry was a huge outlet for me throughout my teenage years. I only regret that I didn’t start earlier! It’s not only a creative outlet, but also a way to express myself through fashion – and like you said, without breaking the bank! It’s also a great bonding activity to do together since most projects aren’t very age specific as they can be customized. Enjoy!!

  2. Does it have to be hot glue for those earrings? I had a bad experience with a hot glue gun that I don’t care to repeat. Could you use regular Aleen’s glue? You would never know those were glue! I might just have to try some of these!
