I bought some very boho decorative earrings but the filigree side with stone hangs more toward the rear rather than the front. I tried replacing the wire but same result. Any advice?

Gold filled or gold? I haven’t worked with solid gold, but for gold filled, I’d work it the same. I imagine it’s pretty much the same. the wires I’ve had have been more delicate, so just work it with care.

Thank you for your easy to follow tutorial. I’ve been working on learning to texture metals and make interesting and creative earrings, components and findings. On Pinterest I’ve gratefully found an explosion of inspiration and generosity of skilled jewelers sharing expertise and knowledge with those of us who have a thirst to learn! I’ve seen this type of hoop used by itself and also wrapped with wire and beads. I had design ideas but wasn’t absolutely positive about how to do it and which gauges of wire to use, so I was very happy to find your website and tutorials! Thank you for taking the time and effort!
