The part when you said ‘we tried to remain mature but our toddler let us know’ pretty much sums up life with a toddler!! Great points!! Never seen the airfresheners you mentioned before!! I’m not a fan of the ones that dangle either so usually buy the ones that fit into the vents. Will have to look out for them – thanks for that!

Packing your own is much healthier than stopping for fast food or gas station snacks. It also saves you time from stopping and saves you money.

We always would try to do the bulk of the road trip at night, heading out after dinner when the kids were full and starting to get sleepy. That way they would fall asleep and stay asleep. Made it a lot less stressful for us 🙂
