I’ve recently ordered from Fabricmart and was happy with the fabrics I received. They offer many kinds of knits, which is what I was interested in. They have a wide range of all sorts of fabrics and even have outdoor fabrics as well as velvets, sheers, and sequined and sparkle fabrics and a number a wools.
They charge a flat $9.99 for shipping so take advantage of their wide range of fabrics and order a lot at once.

Fabric.com has a good selection of commercial silk fabric, and for artisan, hand dyed, etc I’d look on Etsy – so it really depends what you’re looking for?
