I’ve been collecting ideas for bottle caps and all sorts of lids since my dad told me recycle places don’t always recycle them. I have several plastic totes full!

Years ago I saw a documentary about an island inhabited by only birds. There were carcasses of dead birds that deteriorated to the point that their exposed stomachs showed they were filled with plastic bottle caps. At that time plastic caps were not being recycled and they still rarely are. So I vowed to never throw them away again and have found ways to use them. My friends save them for me as well. Tried to post a picture of my work but couldn’t do it.
