Hi Amber! I appreciate your comment. I actually did a lot of research when coming up with this. My main goal was to avoid the microplastics in tinsel glitter – which never breaks down. Really any dye is less than ideal, when washing it into the environment, unless it’s made from plants. You can get plant-based dyes from websites like Etsy. I haven’t tried those in this project. For me, it’s more about having a better option to use, that’s accessible to anyone.

Hi! I meant I used Epsom salt which is typically coarse. Not that I specifically looked for coarse epsom salt.
