In reply to <a href="https://www.momsandcrafters.com/how-to-wire-wrap-hoop-earrings/#comment-61969">Gail Plaskiewicz</a>.

Hi Gail, I always love seeing your comments :) Wire wrapping is what you make of it. You can do elaborate, specific patterns, basic designs like this, or freeform. Starting at the bottom with projects like this is the way to go, because you can see how much of a feel you have for the wire, and then learn to manipulate it further. Seed beads usually use a different sizing system. You'd want an 8/0-6/0 size for 3-4mm. Here is a conversion chart: https://www.beadaholique.com/beading-resources/techniques-guides/charts-diagrams/seed-bead-size-chart - remember with seed beads, the higher the number, the smaller the bead. ANd YES, you can get clip on hoops! Here is one suggestion: https://amzn.to/31vJonW

My sister learned to make wire wrap jewelry from a person who owed a bead store. It looked hard but this looks easy! I could so do this! I have tons of beads & small ones at that. How do you know how small seed beads are? Some of my beads don't have sizes on them so it will have to be a guess on sizes. I don't have a lot of big beads but I have some real small beads too. I'm going to try. I'm also going to see if I can get some hoops for me that are clip ons or can be converted to clip ons. Thank you for this!
